Palmyra Rugby Union Club

The Inaugural Palmyra Rugby Union Season Launch breakfast held on 27th March saw the club launch the 2011 "Integrity in Rugby Awards" which is proudly sponsored by Integrity Staffing, one of the Palmyra RUC's valued 2011 sponsors.

This initiative looks to reward and recognize members of the Palmyra RUC community who actively promote and demonstrate the behaviours and values that are and synonymous with the traditions of rugby union and are clearly evident at the best amateur community rugby union clubs around the globe.

Three cash awards will be presented during each of the 6 months of the rugby season to a selected Junior Palmyra player, Senior Palmyra player and Palmyra Club Member who have been nominated by another Palmyra community member for a demonstration of one of the six different monthly qualities that our great club is looking to highlight and foster within our community. The qualities include Commitment, Respect, Courage, Teamwork, Pride and Resilience during their training, playing, volunteering and supporting our Club as we strive to make Palmyra Rugby Union Club the best organisation and community it can be.

The Palmyra RUC is looking to have a great year in 2011 and we believe the Integrity in Rugby Awards will help us achieve our goals both on and off the field and will assist us to foster the environment that entrenches our "One Club" philosophy as we continue to grow and offer greater opportunities and a quality rugby experiences for people in our local community.
