A message from our Club President Justin Petersen

The Palmyra Rugby Union Club would like to announce that the following players have chosen to come on board for the 2017 season.

Auega Seumanutafa (Perth Spirit)
A power backrower, Auega has been a standout in the Pindan Premier Grade for the past few season seeing him Poll 2nd in the 2016 PG Hampshire Award and earning a place in the Perth Spirit Squad.

Curtis Rona (Western Force)
Former Western Force Academy member Curtis Rona returns home following three spectacular seasons in the National Rugby League. Standing at 194cm and tipping the scales at 102kg the powerful back possesses spectacular speed and power with ball in hand and made of name for himself in the NRL thanks to his outstanding finishing ability. The former Canterbury Bulldog was the second highest try scorer in the NRL in 2015 and scored a staggering 39-tries in 53 appearances through his career. (Player Bio courtesy of the Western Force)

Chance Peni (Western Force)
Western Australian product Chance Peni returns to his home state after spending the last five years plying his trade in rugby league. The New Zealand-born talent came through the RugbyWA pathway playing in Western Australia before being lured east. Blessed with spectacular speed and strength with ball in hand Peni flourished in league playing for the Junior Kiwis and a Test for the Cook Islands before signing with the Wests Tigers. With the ability to play both on the wing and in the centres the former Aranmore Catholic College student is an exciting addition to the Western Force backline in 2017. With both the 2016 Premier and Reserve Grade squads retained, the 2017 RugbyWA season promises to be another fantastic season for the club.

Stay tuned for further announcements!

Go Pally!
