The Palms sling off to Singapore

1 week ago By Palmyra Media

We wish the very best to our 2018 Seven's team who left yesterday to continue the tradition of Pally competing in The SCC 7s

The SCC 7s is a staple part of our seasons with this year marking our 36th appearance at the prestigious event. Competing almost every year since 1983 our highlights include winning the Plate in 1986,1992,1995 and 2006 and winning the Bowl in 1999 and 2005 with last season our best result with us making the semi finals going down to eventual winners the French National Development team.

The SCC 7's brings together a mixture of International, Development and Club sides together in a fun weekend of rugby on the Padang outside the Singapore Cricket Club.

This year sees us with a tough Pool draw including Tamariva, Cottesloe and competition front runners Daveta Rugby from Fiji.

The Touring Squad for 2018:

Rawiri Davis
Dylan Cunningham
Chris Miller
Leighton Short
Trey Moloney
Kale Bissett
Adam Marshall
Marcus Arrindell
Maia King
Kris Setu
Al Momoisea
Ratu Berry

Coached by Sam Green and Managed by Shane Manu we wish the boys all the best for the weekend.
