Nat, Evan and Lloyd.
Palmyra junior Nat Stafford will make his starting Premier grade debut for Palmyra this weekend, after being named at flanker for this week's match against Wanneroo. Nat joins his older brother Evan, who also progressed through the junior ranks at Palmyra to go on to be a Premier grade starting player.
Palmyra President Justin Petersen said:
It's great to see another junior player progress through our system. I'm really pleased for the Stafford family, they are great supporters of our club and there have been three sons playing at Palmyra - Evan, Lloyd and Nat - all started their rugby journey in our juniors.
Nat's selection has been due to a lot of hard work, some outstanding performances both during the preseason trials and in last week's first round game against Perth Bayswater, where Nat came off the bench to replace injured Captain Tyron Law.
Nat this week will pack down at open side, in a back row that has changed from last week due to the injury to Law. There are other changes to premier grade for this week's game against Wanneroo, at prop we see Sam Ikihega come in for his first start due to the unavailability of Tuhoe Mahaki, at scrum half Tiann Prinsloo takes the place of the injured Jack Grooby and at fly half Saia Paese comes in for his first start.
Palmyra face Wanneroo this Saturday at the Kingsway - kick off is at 3.30pm
